Ceylon Melfort Green Tea comes from the Melfort Tea Garden on the Pussellawa Plantation in the Nuwara Eliya district of Sri Lanka.
The Melfort Tea Estate is situated high on the Pussellawa Valley.
The Melfort Tea Estate first opened in 1914 and has been producing outstanding teas for over 100 years.
Since 2004, however, a modern production facility was introduced to specifically produce speciality green teas.
And with an excellent growing climate and the exclusive use of chinese tea plants, remarkable green teas have been produced since then.
For instance, Ceylon Melfort consists of a large, whole leaf tea which has been roughly hand rolled.
It provides a strong, spicy aroma with a fruity and full bodied flavour.
The cup presents a golden appearance and will impress any green tea lover from its excellence!

Brewing Instructions:
Take a large teaspoon (or 2 grams) of our Ceylon Melfort Green Tea and place into a tea infuser.
Boil the kettle until it reaches 75-80°C or just when the kettle starts to rumble.
Leave the infuser in a teapot or tea cup for 1-3 mins.
Remove the infuser and enjoy a delicious cup of tea!
