Jasmine Oolong Tea Explained
Jasmine Oolong has been produced using Ti Kuan Yin Oolong in the Chinese Province of Guangxi.
Guangxi has great climate conditions and produces most of the jasmine blossoms in China.
In terms of production, this oolong has been through a similar process to Organic Jasmine Green Tea.
For instance, the blossoms are layered on top of the oolong tea leaves and rested before being sieved out several times.
The repeated removal of jasmine blossoms is a sign of a true quality cup as this results in a more intensely floral and sweet tasting cup.
The tea leaves are hand rolled to capture and preserve the jasmine fragrance.
