Tea Description

Matcha Genmaicha Organic Green Tea consists of Japanese green tea leaves, matcha powder and peeled, roasted rice from organic cultivation. This combination is classically known as Matcha Genmaicha-Iri and is a popular blend in Japanese culture. The matcha powder lightly covers the sencha leaves and rice, providing a slightly sweet taste with hints of caramel. The roasted rice produces a warming nutty flavour which is ultimately balanced and delightfully smooth in taste. Once infused, expect a lime green coloured infusion which can be paired with any meal at any time of day.

Brewing Guide

Place 2 grams of tea, per 330ml, into an infuser. Pour over hot water (75-80°C). Brew for 1-3 mins. Remove infuser.
