Oolong Tea

Oolong tea is a traditional Chinese tea made from the Camellia sinensis plant, the same plant used to produce green, black, and white teas. What makes it unique is its partial oxidation, which ranges from 10% to 80%, resulting in a flavour profile that balances fresh, floral notes of green tea with the depth and richness of black tea. The leaves are carefully rolled or twisted to help release their complex aromas during brewing. Grown mainly in China’s Fujian and Guangdong provinces as well as Taiwan, oolong tea is prized for its smooth taste, layered complexity, and the ability to be steeped multiple times.
