Rooibos Tea

Rooibos tea, also known as red bush tea, is a naturally caffeine-free herbal infusion made from the leaves of the Aspalathus linearis plant, which is native to South Africa. Unlike traditional teas that come from the Camellia sinensis plant, rooibos is an herbal tea, known for its rich, slightly sweet, and earthy flavour with subtle hints of vanilla or honey. The leaves are harvested, oxidised—giving the tea its distinctive reddish-brown colour—and then dried. There is also a green rooibos variety, which is less oxidised and has a lighter, more grassy taste.
