Ceylon Ahinsa Organic is an Orange Pekoe black tea from the Nilmini Tea Estate which was founded in 1999. The Tea Estate is a small, independent tea farm which is proud to offer fully certified organic tea. Ahinsa relates to the Sanskrit term “Ahimsa” meaning ‘non-violent’ and the tea farmers produce tea in a way that respects humans, animals, plants and the environment. Ceylon Ahinsa is produced in a tropical and humid environment; in the south-western area of Sri Lanka, almost at sea level. The growing conditions contribute to its fantastic quality which provides a strong and spicy tasting cup.
