Tea Description
Darjeeling FTGFOP1 Jungpana is a single estate black tea grown in the Himalayan Foothills of West Bengal, India. The tea garden was founded by Henry Lennox in 1899 and is now one of the most sought after Darjeeling teas. Darjeeling Jungpana is grown at an altitude of 4000-6500 feet above sea level with tea bushes of Chinese variety. The tea estate is known for producing some of the most distinct and muscatel tasting teas in Darjeeling. In terms of appearance, it has a well worked leaf and presents an amber coloured cup. Darjeeling FTGFOP1 Jungpana is an in-between flush tea making it fine and delicate like a first flush darjeeling but with the scented bouquet of a second flush tea. Making it our tea of choice for a Sunday afternoon!
