Tea Description
Mao Feng Green Tea has been sourced from the Chinese province of Zhejian. Due to its long, curly leaves which have a twisty appearance, it is also known as Criss Cross Tea. Our Mao Feng Green Tea has been sourced from an old tea garden with its leaves harvested in April at an altitude of 600mm above sea level. The tea plantation itself is close to the mountain “Jiu Long Shan”, which is known as the “Mountain of the Nine Dragons”. The growing conditions contribute towards a taste which is soft and aromatic; and the dark green leaves release a fine bouquet. Mao Feng Green Tea is great for green tea beginners and is suited towards those who prefer a less vegetative and grassy taste of green tea.
