Tea Description

Our Matcha Organic has been sourced from the Uji District in Japan. Tea has been cultivated in the Uji District since the beginning of the 13th Century with Matcha produced here towards the end of the 16th century. This Matcha tea has been grown in soil, rich with calcium and in an area with regular ‘ground fog’ which provides perfect conditions for speciality green teas. The purity of a high grade matcha can be seen in its colour, with high grade Matcha being a bright, vibrant green colour. The smell is sweetish and fruity with a taste which is aromatic and full-bodied.

Brewing Guide

Place 2 grams of tea, per 330ml, into an infuser. Pour over hot water (75-80°C). Brew for 1-3 mins. Remove infuser.
