White Snow Buds White Tea Explained
White Snow Buds, Xue Ya, White Tea is grown in the mountains at south-east China.
This speciality white tea has been produced for over 100 years and is a classic in Chinese culture.
This tea is traditionally plucked by hand and left to ferment for only a short time to preserve it's "green soul".
On inspection, you can see a leaf with a light-green colour and a silver shimmer on the back of the tea leaf.
You can see white snow buds tea consists of "two leaves and a bud" and this is clearly visible on inspection.
In taste, this white tea consists of mild and slight fruity notes. Quite a unique white tea of its kind!
Expect a light-green coloured cup and slight champagne colour.
