Hand rolled tea leaf with silvery coloured tips. aromatic & flowery with a refreshing taste & aroma
Nepal FTGFOP1 Maloom S.F is a Nepalese black tea from the small Maloom plantation situated on the “roof of the world”. Meaning this remote plantation sits on one of the highest mountains at a height of 3500-6000 feet above sea level. The Maloom plantation was established in 1993 and produces exceptional orthodox quality teas with similar characteristics to Darjeeling teas. For example, Nepalese and Darjeeling teas are grown in close proximity to each other, but simply separated by the international border. With similar geographical and weather growing conditions, there is much to be desired. Nepal Maloom consists of a hand rolled sinensis leaf with silver coloured tips on inspection. However, once steeped, this delicate nepalese tea produces a wonderful golden coloured cup. Each sip provides aromatic and flowery notes which result in a truly refreshing taste and aroma. This Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe Grade Tea offers minimal maltiness and a strong resemblance to some of the finest Darjeeling teas. Simply a must try for all tea connoisseurs.
