Ti Kuan Yin Oolong Tea Explained
Ti Kuan Yin is a staple Chinese Oolong Tea cultivated in the Fujian Province.
Translated as ”The Iron Goddess Of Mercy” this is one of the most popular and famous Chinese Oolongs.
Legend states it was named by a tea grower after the iron statue of the Goddess of Mercy, Guanyin.
It originated in the 19th century in Anxi, Fujian Province.
In terms of taste, this oolong has a delicious sense of ripeness with a full-bodied & aromatic flavour.
