Russian Caravan Tea Explained
Russian Caravan Tea is traditionally a black tea blend of Lapsang Souchong, Keemun and Oolong Teas.
This smoked tea tends to be sweeter, lighter and less malty than Lapsang Souchong.
It is believed that the name for Russian Caravan Tea came from trading routes that used a Caravan of Camels to transport tea from Chinese tea producing regions to Europe via Russia.
