Honeybush Tea Organic Explained
Honeybush Organic is a naturally caffeine-free infusion which, much like Rooibos Tea, was discovered; and is from South Africa.
The wild Honeybush plants grow on the mountain ranges of the Longkloof District.
The name ‘Honeybush’ is derived from its own characteristic.
For instance, the yellow flowers of the Honeybush shrub have a smell similar to honey which gives the plant it’s common name.
Although often compared to Rooibos, Honeybush has a complex flavour and presents a sweet and aromatic infusion.
It is also believed to have a much “less medicinal” taste than Rooibos Tea.
This tea is known for its compact antioxidant profile and contains a number of vitamins and minerals.
